I'm Giuseppe Caminiti and I was born in Rome living in Appio Latino area, Rome, Italy.
My last graduation as bachelor's degree was in Computer Engineering (laurea triennale in Ingegneria Informatica) at the Guglielmo Marconi University of Rome with the final project work that focused on innovation: “Technical – scientific design and testing of a watering system for a smart farming”. I explained my studies regarding the European Union regulations and directives about prevention on the consumption of water and the sustainability of farms thanks to the support received from the Sensefarm AB company in Lund, Sweden.
I won two Erasmus+ scholarships, mobility for study at the “FH Technikum Wien”, Faculty of Applied Sciences in Austria and the second one that allowed me to attend the internship at the Ideon Open AB in Lund, Sweden.
My current level of English is B2, recognized by the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
I was developing web sites and studying the subject of Web & Interaction Design at the Quasar Design University in Rome graduating on July, 7th, 2015.
My skills and competences allowed me to work in a team and in touch with people due to the experience in innovation events as the hackathon in Rome and Milan and to the FabLab BIC Lazio. I have attended many pitches of projects on the Internet of Things.
In addition, my interest to travel and to enjoy the cultures of all the countries in the world, expecially the passion for the airport environment and mainly security for people gave me the motivation to attend the training and to work at the ADR (Aeroporti di Roma) company as a Security Screener.
Aeroporti di Roma company organizes the innovative event called "Hangar Program". It allows employees of every airport's sector to gather in a team consisting of three-five members and creating an idea of renewing the airport. Both of the years 2024 and 2025, I was focusing on the Passenger Experience: easy and pleasurable moments before reaching the plane. My team's idea passed the Evaluation Phase twice and took 23rd place out of 55 projects. The "Innovation Cabin Crew" evaluated our project as one of the best in terms of innovation, feasibility, benefits and scaleability.
Moreover, I worked in one of the most important e-commerce company in the world, Amazon, as Sortation Associate (Gi Group and Amazon Transport employee) in Rome. I had an opportunity to study the interesting business behind the huge management of the logistcs and which may be a good benefit for leading own startup or company in the future.
